Fruit Alchemist — a free Suika-style drop-and-merge puzzle

Puzzle Physics Casual Merge

About the game

Fruit Alchemist is a drop-and-merge physics puzzler in the Suika family. Drop fruit into the jar — when two of the same fruit touch, they merge into the next tier up, all the way to the watermelon. Stack carefully: if any fruit rests above the danger line for too long, the run ends.

How to play

Controls

  • Aim: drag your finger or mouse across the top of the jar to position the dropper.
  • Drop: release (touch) or click to let the fruit fall.
  • Preview: the next fruit shows in the shelf on the right so you can plan two drops ahead.

Tips & strategy

Keep the smallest fruit clustered on one side so cherries and grapes chain into bigger merges instead of cluttering the top. Don't waste a big fruit by dropping it on the danger line — aim for the valleys between existing fruit so it rolls into a partner. Save space in the middle for the watermelon — your final merge needs room to settle.

Fullscreen

Hit the Fullscreen button in the bar above the play area to expand. To exit, press Esc (or swipe down from the top edge on touch) and tap the Exit button that slides in.

Daily puzzle notes

Daily value

Fruit Alchemist is built for short, repeatable decisions rather than endless random levels. The daily puzzle comes from a bounded rotating pool, which means a run can be discussed, replayed, and compared without pretending that a random seed is handcrafted content.

How to score better

Keep the center flexible. Dropping large fruit into a corner too early creates a wall that blocks future merges. Use small fruit to prepare landing pockets, and resist the urge to clear every match immediately if waiting one drop can chain a higher tier.

Why it helps the site

Daily games add a different kind of value than action games: a reason to return, a calendar of completed runs, and a lightweight session for players on a break. Fruit Alchemist is the reference implementation for Legitsauce daily puzzle systems.
